Terms of Service
These terms cover the website at fly-trader.app, the fly-trader software published on GitHub, and the $FLY token described on this site. By using any of them you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, do not use them.
This is an open-source research experiment run by an unincorporated, pseudonymous project. The software is provided as is under the MIT license, nothing here is financial advice, no performance is promised, and $FLY confers no rights or utility. You are responsible for your own keys, funds, and legal compliance.
What this site is
fly-trader.app is an informational website describing an experimental trading system that runs the FlyWire fruit-fly connectome as a trading policy for Solana tokens. The site sells nothing, hosts no accounts, and executes no trades. It links to third-party services that are governed by their own terms.
"fly-trader", "we", and "the project" refer to the pseudonymous contributors who publish the site and the software. The project is not a company, fund, exchange, broker, or adviser, and does not hold or manage anyone's assets.
The software
The fly-trader source code is published under the MIT License. The license text in the repository governs your use of the code and prevails over anything in these terms that conflicts with it. In summary: you may use, copy, modify, and redistribute it, and it is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind.
The software can, if you configure it to, sign and submit transactions from a wallet you control on the Solana mainnet. Every such transaction is initiated by your copy of the software on your machine, with your keys, under your configuration. We never see your keys, never receive your funds, and cannot reverse anything the software does.
No financial advice and no performance claims
Nothing on this site or in the software or its documentation is investment, financial, trading, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Statistics published here describe the size and structure of the model and its training data. They are not a track record, a backtest guarantee, or a forecast. Any historical figure we publish is explicitly caveated and should be assumed not to persist.
The system is experimental. It may lose money, including all of the capital you give it, and may do so quickly. You should expect it to. Memecoins on Solana are among the most volatile and manipulated markets in existence; many tokens go to zero within hours of launch.
The $FLY token
$FLY is a memecoin on Solana that the project intends to launch on Pump.fun. It is created to gather a community around the experiment and for no other reason.
- $FLY has no utility. Any future tie-in to the software is described on this site as "coming soon" and is not promised, scheduled, or guaranteed. It may never happen.
- $FLY confers no ownership, equity, revenue share, profit share, governance right, redemption right, or claim of any kind against the project or any contributor.
- Nothing on this site is an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell $FLY or any other token, in any jurisdiction.
- You should have no expectation of profit from $FLY, and in particular no expectation of profit from the efforts of the project. Its price is set entirely by a public market we do not control.
- The token may lose all of its value. Liquidity on Pump.fun and any later venue may be thin, absent, or withdrawn.
- The only authoritative contract address is the one published on this page and in the project's official X community. Any other token using the name is not ours.
Pump.fun is an unaffiliated third-party service. Its terms and its risks apply to anything you do there.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for determining whether using the software, trading Solana tokens, or acquiring $FLY is lawful where you live, and for any taxes that result. If it is not lawful, do not do it.
- You are responsible for the security of your wallet keys, your API keys, your machine, and your database. The software stores a private key in a local file that you create; protect it.
- You are responsible for the configuration you run, including capital caps, live-trading flags, and slippage limits. The defaults are conservative and deny live trading; changing them is your decision.
- You must be an adult under the law of your jurisdiction to use the software for trading or to acquire $FLY.
Third-party services
The software and the site depend on services the project does not operate, including the Solana network, Pump.fun, Jupiter, Helius, GitHub, X, and Google Fonts. Their availability, pricing, terms, and privacy practices are theirs alone. An outage, fee change, rate limit, or policy change at any of them may stop the software from working or cause it to behave differently from what is described here.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site or the software to break the law, to manipulate markets, to interfere with the services it connects to, or to misrepresent the project or its contributors. Do not present a modified copy of the software or a different token as the project's official release. The MIT license permits forks; it does not permit impersonation.
No warranties and limitation of liability
The site, the software, and all related documentation are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the project and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including lost funds, lost profits, lost tokens, failed or unintended transactions, data loss, or the cost of substitute services, arising from or related to the site, the software, or $FLY, however caused and under any theory of liability, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid the project for the service in question, which is nothing.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time by publishing a new version at this address with a new effective date. Continued use of the site or the software after that date is acceptance of the new terms. The MIT license attached to any version of the software you have already obtained does not change.
Contact
The project has no legal entity, office, or mailbox. Questions about these terms may be raised by opening an issue on the GitHub repository. Public issues are visible to everyone; do not post keys or personal information there.
